Current Times is a performance and discussion about the lives and compositions of three underrepresented composers. Flutist Anamarie Diaz, accompanied by pianist Russell Willson, will perform works by Carlos Simon, Valerie Coleman, and Allison Loggins-Hull and discuss how the composers' experiences have shaped their lives and writing. Interviews with each composer will be screened after the performance.
