Birthday Week Ep. 7: 17th Street Quartet

https://youtu.be/YygKxAQ0iRg

It wouldn't be a Classical Revolution RVA birthday without some Beethoven! Watch the 17th Street Quartet perform a selection from his 8th quartet, followed by a special treat.

These performances have been recorded over the course of the pandemic and were either funded by our Coronavirus Relief Fund or donated by the performers to the cause. With the community’s assistance, we have been able to help over 80 performers recoup a total of over $13,000 in lost income, which is only a small fraction of the amount lost due to COVID-19.

Donations (https://www.classicalrevolutionrva.com/donate) received with the note "Birthday Bash #7" will help Classical Revolution RVA meet our $4,000 fundraising goal, which will allow us to continue our efforts to help local musicians!

---

Last in the series is the 17th Street Quartet (Marissa Resmini and Sarah Douthwaite, violins; Quinton Folks, viola; Maddie Erskine, cello), performing:

Beethoven String Quartet No. 8 in E minor, Op. 59 No. 2, I. Allegro

Stand by Me (King/Leiber/Stoller)
