Ichabod Crane comes to town on November 12! Ready to instruct and to charm, Ichabod stumbles on a hidden world both fantastical and dangerous.
Join a singing cast of hometown heroes for a pastiche of baroque arias compiled with new lyrics and narration by Jessica Wakelyn, inspired by Washington Irving’s famous short story. Costumed singers are joined by the gleaming imagery of Beth Reid and Edward Breitner, schooled in the ancient art of Indonesian shadow puppetry.
Presented to benefit Classical Revolution RVA’s Musician Fund. Your door fee or donation goes directly to provide paid performance opportunities for excellent artists in creative settings in Richmond.
Doors at 7pm, show at 7:30pm. Libations available for purchase. $5 General Admission. Donations encouraged. None are refused entry if unable to pay.
